The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is God's Word, and that it was written by men Divinely inspired, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.  We believe that God has preserved His word in the King James Bible for the English speaking world.

 The One True God

We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power.  We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, and that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

 The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, virgin born, sinless in His life, making atonement for the sins of the world by His death.  We believe that His blood was shed for the sins of the world, and that it is preserved and sprinkled upon the altar in the heavenly tabernacle, and that there is no remission of sins without the shedding of blood.  We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His perpetual intercession for His people, and His premillennial, visible return to the world according to His promise.  We believe that He is very God from eternity to eternity.

 The Holy Spirit

We believe in THE HOLY SPIRIT Who came forth to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and comfort those who believe in Jesus Christ.  We believe that the nine sign gifts of the Holy Spirit were only used during the period of the inspiration of the New Testament, and that with the close of the canon, the nine sign gifts came to a conclusion.  We believe that all Christians are indwelt by the Holy Spirit from the moment of their personal salvation and are filled or influenced by the Holy Spirit many times in their lives in relation to their surrender to His absolute will.

 Sinful Man

We believe that all men are sinners by nature and by choice, but that, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life; we believe, therefore, that those who repent of their sins and accept Christ as Lord and Saviour will rejoice forever in God's presence and that those who do not repent and refuse to accept Christ as Lord and Saviour will be forever separated from God in Hell  that is literal, inescapable, everlasting, and made up of literal fire.

Eternal Security

We believe that every born-again believer is secure in his personal salvation since Christ is the Author and Finisher of our faith, being the One who saves us by His grace and keeps us by His grace, demonstrating that a man does not save himself and does not keep himself.

 Importance of the Local Church 

We believe that God's one appointed organization is the local church.  This is to say that we do not hold to any invisible or universal church concept.  We do not believe the church will go through any portion of the tribulation, or any kind of pre-wrath judgment by God, but awaits the pre-tribulation rapture.  We believe the local church, alone, has the authority to baptize and to administer the Lord's Supper or communion.

Independent Philosophy and Practice

We believe that every born-again believer has direct relations with God and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith; that each church is independent and autonomous and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority.  We believe in separation of church and state, but denounce the thought of separation of God and state.
