Anchor Baptist Church is a Local, Independent, Historic, Separated assembly of born again believers centrally located on the eastern side of the Salt Lake Valley.

Anchor Baptist Church was organized on December 25, 1960 and is celebrating its 52nd year of preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He who, "died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."(1 Cor. 15: 3-4)  Dr. Thomas E. Corkish had been the pastor since 1976,until June 3, 2012. On that Sunday, Randall L. Love was appointed pastor of Anchor Baptist Church. Dr. Corkish is still serving the church as an assistant to the Pastor.

The goal of Anchor Baptist Church is to observe and uphold the pure Word of God, as found in the King James Bible. Anchor desires to be found loving, honoring and serving the Lord Jesus Christ when He returns.

At Anchor we preach and teach the Bible in a setting and manner intended to please the Lord Himself, with music that is worshipful and God honoring.
